Living a Small town Lifestyle in St Marys, Georgia

After St. Augustine, St. Mary's is the second oldest continually occupied town in the U.S. St. Mary's is a fast growing town in extreme southeastern Georgia with more than 17,000 residents. It is the access to Cumberland Island, one of the gorgeous Sea Islands off Georgia's southern coast.

St. Mary's gets a favorable mention by most people considering living in the area. It is near the naval base and has some military families living here.  Obviously recreation is outstanding with so much waterfront everywhere.  Many of the homes and downtown buildings are old and cute.
