In early 2020 Zillow reported the home value index to be $253,229. There is a very large number of mobile home communities here, many of which are situated on very valuable land looking out at Hobe Sound.

What Is Special about Jensen Beach

The beaches, the State Parks, the funky downtown, inexpensive living, and great weather make Jensen Beach an interesting and lower cost choice than most of its tonier neighbors.

What Is Not Special about Jensen Beach

Hurricanes are a possibility, there is a lot of traffic in season, and changes to the low key vibe  is always possible.

Climate and Physical Environment

The average January temperature is in the mid 60s and the average July temperature is in the 80s.  Jensen Beach is on the intracoastal just north of Stuart and Jupiter. The area has had plenty of hurricanes in the past.

Restaurants & Cultural Scene

There is an interesting and  a little offbeat downtown with some restaurants to choose from. There are also some artist galleries and an active Chamber of Commerce plannning community events.

Crime

The crime rate is  below average.

Medical Facilities

Nearby Port St. Lucie offers a hospital, and you are not far from other big city Florida hospitals and doctors.

Transportation

I 95 runs just west of town. Nearby big airports include Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale.
