Elon University Law School adds a scholarly culture to this community. Greensboro is a medium sized city of 250,000 in northern North Carolina. It is considered one of the 3 cities in the Triad along with Winston-Salem and High Point. Greensboro has an active and well-diversified infrastructure with many big name companies located here. The city is known for it beauty, much of which came from the city's early success as a cotton and merchandising capital. Downtown life has improved with many restaurants, bars, and new projects like the New Bridge Park Park.

Where to Retire in Greensboro and Home Prices

The Aycock and Fisher Park neighborhoods were established in the late 1800's to early 1900's. The Aycock neighborhood features large Queen Anne residences of the turn-of-the-twentieth century, as well as Foursquare, Craftsman, and Colonial Revival styles. Irving Park surrounds the Greensboro Country Club which was loosely modeled after Pinehurst and offers very gracious homes.
