Living a College Town Lifestyle in Kennesaw, Georgia

Kennesaw State University in located here in this suburban college town. Kennesaw is one of the fastest growing towns in Georgia - it increased 43% between 2000 and 2007. It is now considered a suburb of Atlanta. Kennesaw is of course famous for the Civil War Battle of Kennesaw Mountain.  Kennesaw was named a Preserve America Community by former First Lady Laura Bush. It was also named a "Top 10 Town for Families" by Family Circle Magazine in 2007.
