Living a Beach Lifestyle in St Marys, Georgia

St. Marys is a fast growing town in extreme southeastern Georgia with more than 17,000 residents. It is the access to the beaches of Cumberland Island, one of the gorgeous Sea Islands off Georgia's southern coast. Fort Clinch State Park and its beaches are also nearby.  St. Marys is near the naval base and has some military families living here.  Obviously recreation is outstanding with so much waterfront everywhere.  Many of the homes and downtown buildings are old and cute.  St. Mary's is the second oldest continually occupied town in the U.S. (after St. Augustine).
