Canton, Georgia, an old textile town in Georgia famous for its "Canton denim" is an example of city that is revitalzing itself through urban renewal and the use of a master plan.  Canton is the fastest growing city in Georgia and one of the fastest growing in the U.S.  Some of the exciting projects are for park and sidewalk improvements. There is an $8 million community center on Waleska Street, built in partnership with the Atlanta YMCA.
