Avid golfers visiting Danbury will find one of America's finest public golf courses, the renowned and much loved Richter Park Golf Course. Always maintained in impeccable condition, Richter Park is a good test of golf as it goes up and down hills, across the lake, and through the beautiful forests of western Connecticut near the Hudson River. Other courses are in the area including private country clubs. Danbury is a small city in western Connecticut of about 80,000. It was formerly called the Hat City because it was a center of hat manufacturing.

What Is Special about Danbury

It has one of the finest public golf courses in the nation, Richter Park.  Crime is low. Easy access to NYC. Candlewood Lake and Candlewood Park are just some of the many parks in the city.
