What Is Special about Foley

Low cost of living and being on Mobile Bay and all of its great watersports. Being near the utopian community of Fairhope is also a big plus. The City of Foley Antique Rose Trail features over five hundred varieties of fragrant roses. There is also a City Museum and Model Train Exhibit. The Foley Golf Course is 18 holes.

What Is Not Special about Foley

The property crime rate is high but much lower than the rest of Alabama. This is also prime hurricane country.

Foley is not far from Mobile and 28 miles from Pensacola. The average July temp is about 80 and the average Jan temp is 50.

Foley has a historic district, museums, many dining choices and is host to several events and festivals throughout the year. The Foley Public Library has over 50,000 volumes, internet computers, children's reading programs and public meeting rooms.

The crime rate is more than double the national average.

South Baldwin Regional Hospital serves Foley. It is also a short drive to Pensacola.
